Incense of the day: Pine Today is the birthday of the Russian harvest goddess, Berehynia. In her honor, make your own harvest incense. Combine two parts sweetgrass, one part each cedar, sage, juniper, and rosemary essential oils. Mix them together in a glass bottle. Or you may use the dry herbs and grind them together in a blender or bowl. Once your incense has been mixed, chant: Sacred herbs, Children of the land, Bring us the blessings of the harvest season. Burn your incense on a charcoal disk, and wish Berehynia a very happy birthday. |
