Spell: "Free From" Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In honor of Passover, which ends tomorrow, let us cultivate freedom. Moses parted the Red Sea, but you need only a faucet, soap, and a towel.

Run the water cold. Wet your hands, and as you lather them with soap, envision your problems “out there” in the world, at work, in your community or society. Rinse and release those problems down the drain.

Adjust the water so it is tepid. Lather your hands and envision any problems within your home. What needs repairing, cleaning, or fixing? Rinse your hands and release those problems down the drain.

Adjust the water so it is very warm and comforting. Wet your hands. As you lather them, engage your inner knowing. What habits, routines, practices, or thoughts do you need to be free from? Rinse your hands and release those problems down the drain.

While many problems are not easily relieved or released, awareness is the first step in the long journey toward freedom. Turn off the taps. Dry your hands. Get to work. What do you want to be free from?
