Sometimes we just can't get the creative juices flowing. I like to go to my muse for inspiration.
Euterpe is the muse of song and music. Erato is the muse of lyric poetry, while Calliope is the muse of epic poetry. Clio is the muse of history. Terpsichore is the muse of dance, while Thalia represents comic theater and Melpomene is tragic theater. Polyhymnia is the muse of hymns and Urania is the muse of astronomy. I write, and while poetry is not exactly my forte, Clio has been a muse to me in the past. For all things there is a history, whether it is fiction or reality. If I am working ritual, Polyhmnia is the one I call on. These muses provide us with sparks of interest and inspiration. Their fields of expertise can be expanded to fit your needs. Just whisper to them and then listen. |
