Spell: Spell of Balance

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

What are you growing in your inner garden? What are you nurturing? What no longer deserves or requires your energy and must be released? Now is the time to bring all into balance. For this spell, you'll need some small stones and some gold and black paint. Cast your circle, and for each thing you need to continue to nurture, paint a symbol or word on one of the stones in gold(or other "action" color). For each thing you do for yourself in order to rest or heal, paint a symbol or word on a stone in black (or other color of stillness or "non-action"). When you're finished, look at the two piles of stones, pick them up, and hold them in your hands. Do they balance? If not, why not? Do you need more self-care or more actions in your life? Which of these actions could be discarded, delegated, or set aside for another time? When all have been assessed, line the stones up on your altar in an alternating pattern to remind you of the balance that keeps your life healthy and nurturing to you. Blessed be.
