Summer can be especially challenging for many people. There's so much to do, and our normal habits and schedules can be chaotic due to vacations and other expectations. Take a little time to create a smooth worry stone, into which you can put all your stress and jangly uncertainty.
During a walk outside, pick a stone that feels good in your hand. River stones are particularly good, but any smooth stone that fits your hand is fine. (You may also have a polished stone or crystal at home you'd like to use.) Roll the stone around in your hand, getting familiar with every curve and dip. When you're ready, roll it between your hands, directing energy into the stone, and repeat the following chant: "Old rock, strong and sure. I create my worry's cure. Old rock, bring me calm. Be now my healing balm." Carry the stone with you as needed. |
