| In France on this day the winegrowers gather to celebrate the grape harvest. It is a festival of sharing in the abundance Mother Earth has to offer. Summer is waning and the crops are fruitful. To show your appreciation for the simple joy of today, place the Three of Cups from your tarot deck or perhaps a bundle of fresh grapes on your altar. Spontaneously invite a few friends over to share a nice glass of wine or white grape juice. If the mood is fitting gather together joining hands. Begin to weave like the grapevine in a spiral dance creating a sense of communion. Then raise your glass in a salute to joy and simply say:
To you our Mother Each other Sister, brother May our hearts be open To laughter and loving Sharing our blessings Saluting our becoming Full of life's riches Salute! |
