Spell: Roasted Oranges Energizing Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This spell uses ingredients associated with the fire element to help relieve weariness and bring a quick boost of energy. Slice an unpeeled orange into round slices about ¼ inch thick. Heat a pan on the stovetop to medium temperature, then add the orange slices. Cover the oranges with a generous sprinkling of cinnamon and a light sprinkle of ginger and brown sugar. Think of the element of fire and invite these bright, strong energies to be present as you cast the spell. You might think of the hot sun, a raging bonfire, the warmth of your body, or the passion within you. Envision the fiery energies of the oranges and spices growing stronger as it heats. Cook the oranges on one side for about 2 minutes, then flip the slices over and add more cinnamon, ginger, and brown sugar. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes as you breathe in the warm and vibrant aroma. Remove the fruit from the pan and let cool slightly. Eat for an easy pick-me-up that will have you feeling refreshed and alert.
