Spell: Breadbasket Festival

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

A celebration of abundance in Portugal, this day marks the miraculous relief from a plague. Little girls dress in white and carry huge baskets of bread and flowers on their heads. In honor of this day, celebrate abundance in your life by giving gifts of bread and flowers to others-or use this spell to ask for what you need. Start by obtaining a loaf of bread and some flowers. Place them on your altar or a table with a white cloth, and say the following blessing:
Loaf and flowers, lend your gifts,
Let them grow from seed.
Send relief for what I crave,
Satisfy my need.
Cut the bread and share it with others; keep the flowers in your home for decoration.
