LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Back to Base Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Cast this spell whenever you find yourself overwhelmed by worldly concerns and mundane obligations. It will help you regain a sense of balance and joy and strengthen your sense of self, reminding you of your core being and essence.

Light a candle in a holder, and stand with the candle in front of a mirror. Take some deep breaths as you look at your reflection. Then bring your focus deeper within, to the core of who you are. Close your eyes and see in your mind's eye the very essence of your being. Let the image form as it will, wherever your vision and emotions lead you. Imagine the image you see reflected in the mirror before you. Open your eyes and visualize this reflection of your essence stepping into you and meshing with your outward form. If you like, you can say:
I call back to myself all that I
am and all that I will be. I reclaim the totality of my power!
I reclaim the totality of me!

When you're ready, take a slow, deep breath, then blow out the candle. You'll be able to get back to your day feeling more balanced and back to center.
