• An empty, clear Christmas ornament
(I prefer glass over plastic)
or a small clear glass jar with a lid
• Some sea salt
• Some old rusty nails
• Some black peppercorns
• A pinch of dried parsley
One by one, add the ingredients to the container, saying:

me and all I hold dear.
Close the top. Place the container in the chimney, under the stairs, in the crawl space, or under the stoop, or bury it in the soil. Do not speak of it and do not revisit it. Should you move, make another Witch bottle rather than take this one with you.
