It has been a week since New Year’s Day, time enough to settle into 2024 and January. Maybe you made some New Year’s resolutions to start some new routines. But with the waning moon, now is the time to do a quick tidying up, psychically, of yourself, your habits, your space, and your intentions, letting go of what you no longer need and banishing it. Write a list of anything that needs to stop or be let go of. Fold the list in half, with the words folded in and no longer visible. Say: I am done with these. Burn the paper (over the toilet or sink, for safety), saying: I now release. Flush the toilet or rinse the sink, saying: You are banished now. |
