Spell: Foot Track Protection Magick

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Footsteps reveal mood, intention, direction, health, and desires. Let’s explore the intent of the footstep as we open ourselves to the magickal possibilities of Hoodoo’s foot track magick. For the sake of brevity, foot track magick uses footsteps, paths, shoes, and boots to bring intended results. It’s frequently used for heart, home, protection, and health magick.

Today we’ll use just four tools: your favorite shoes, two Mercury dimes (or the oldest dimes you have), High John the Conqueror root powder, and some steel dust.

1. Take out your best walking shoes.
2. Sprinkle a pinch of each powder on the inner sole of each shoe’s heel.
3. Put a dime under the sole of each shoe’s heel.

High John the Conqueror root is a beloved and powerful herb of Hoodoo. When it is coupled with the strong curio of steel dust and the protective energies of dimes, you have some mighty protection magick afoot. Walk as far and as many times as you can today to seal in your shoes’ protection powers.
