POSTED UNDER Autumn, Spring

Spell: Moving Divination

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Autumn is a time when the crops are harvested and then the fields lie fallow. Everything that works needs a rest sometimes, so now is a good time to consider which parts of your life could use a break. This is especially important if you feel overloaded with too much to do.

For this moving divination, make a list of significant parts of your life that take up your time and energy. Five to ten is a good range. Hold those in your mind as you take a walk. Ideally walk around your neighborhood, school, or workplace—someplace you know well. If you see something that reminds you of a point on your list, take note that this is an area of your life that needs some rest. Try to schedule downtime for it, or at least avoid adding new projects. In spring, you can renew the activity again.
