Spell: A Mercurial Soul Retrieval

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Mercury is still retrograde until tomorrow. Let’s make it work for us instead of against us. This is a good time to reflect on past events that still need resolution. These are parts of our soul that are “trapped” in our past, meaning we do not have access to the life force that is contained within them. But if we can call them back to us and confront them, we can reclaim our stolen power.

For this spell you will need a white candle. Ground and center. Think of a past event that has caused you trouble. Light the candle and say:

Shadow rooted in the past,
With this light be guided home.

Contemplate the past issue. Feel whatever emotions that arise. While in this space, imagine the light of the candle permeating the memory and the associated emotions, guiding the energy back to you as you breathe it in. Allow the candle to burn down safely.
