LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Breaking Free

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

For this spell, you’ll need a slip of paper, a pen, and a handful of salt or sand. Choose a decision or situation in which you feel stuck, and write a concise description of it on the paper. Place the paper on a table, and ring it with a circle of sand or salt, making sure there are no gaps. Spend a few moments feeling into this stuckness, noticing where it appears in your body and any thoughts or images that arise. When you feel ready to shift, say:

This stuckness that has held me tight,
I cast aside with all my might.
New options, ways, ideas appear,
The path ahead is free and clear!

Break open the circle of salt/sand with your fingers and feel the energy shift, then journal or meditate in this space to receive guidance on your next empowered action step. Rip up the paper and throw it away, along with the sand/salt.
