Though dates vary from tradition to tradition, an older date for the Beltane celebration would fall on this day rather than our modern standard of April 30/May 1. An easy way to help tune into and harness the energy present at this time is to spend as much of the day outdoors as you can, whether it be to have a barbeque, work in a garden, or hold a formal ritual. If possible, meditate for a time outdoors, and as you breathe in and out, visualize yourself breathing in the energy of Beltane and exhaling anything unhealthy or incorrect for you. |
