In a temperate climate, spring and fall are typically the rainy times. Summer tends to be dry, while winter brings snow. That is no longer as reliable as it used to be. So here’s a spell to bring the autumn rains. To cast this spell, you’ll need some fresh colorful autumn leaves and some dry brown ones, plus a bowl of water. It’s easier to do this outdoors, but you can bring some leaves indoors if necessary. Dip a handful of fresh leaves into the bowl and sprinkle water in all four directions, then above and below. Say: "Hear me, autumn rains, Dip the fresh leaves again and sprinkle water onto the dry leaves. Listen to the familiar sound it makes. Say: "Come hither, autumn rains, Preferably, dispose of the leaves outdoors and pour the water over them. |
