We are an ever-industrious and ultra-busy society. The black moon is an opportunity to close off our senses. It’s a time to be calm and relieve tension. Meditation Go outside and sit down wherever you feel comfortable. Soften your eyes. Leave them partially open and almost closed. Focus on the power and mystery of the seemingly moonless sky. Focus on your breathing. Count your breaths, making sure to synchronize your inhales with your exhales. Affirmation Say: "I soak in the power of black. I feel safe, nurtured, calm, and light." Inhale deeply. Say: "I breath in the wisdom of the universe." Exhale evenly. Say: "I relinquish tension, stress, and busyness." Open your eyes. Say: "I am of this moment" |
