Spring will be upon us soon, and we may find that our springtime clothes are, ahem, a little tighter than usual. Holiday indulgence and winter blahs can make us lose motivation to exercise, but a bit of work to renew our intentions can help us get back in gear. It's frustrating trying to lose weight when results seem to be so slow in coming. In addition to your chosen diet or fitness routine, try this spell to help see results.
Put on your workout gear (or whatever clothes you exercise in) and stand before a mirror. Look at yourself up and down, then look in your eyes and say: "I am getting fitter and healthier every day." Do this after you return from exercising (even walking the dog!) or after you've made healthy eating choices. Make sure you do it to observe any small milestone (an old pair of jeans fits again or you increase the mileage or the intensity of your workout), and do it at least once a day regardless of whether you have exercise planned. This will remind you that you're making a positive effort and continuing to make progress. |
