In autumn, leaves fall from trees. If you walk around your yard or a park, you'll find many different types of fallen leaves. Each has its own shape and symbolism. Gather at least half a dozen different ones. For accuracy, include a mix of positive and negative meanings.
There are various methods of divination. One is to float the leaves in a large basin of water and see which reaches the far side first. Another is to blow them with a fan and see which goes farthest. Have a friend throw them from a window and try to catch one. Whichever you get tells you about what the coming season will bring you.
