Most of us can use a little boost of courage and support from time to time. Creating a courage talisman may be just the thing.
Work in the period leading up to a full moon. Begin by cutting two two-inch squares from a piece of red felt. Sew the squares together on three sides, then add the following: a pinch of dragon's blood incense (for power), a small piece of labradorite (mental clarity), a small piece of blue ribbon (a prize!), and nine whole cloves (awareness and insight). For extra oomph, prick your finger and add a dab of your blood to the mixture. Sew the bag closed. Consecrate and dedicate the talisman at high noon. Holding it in both hands, raise it to the sky and say: "Talisman of pluck, I offer thee, And ask that you give nerve to me." Keep the talisman on your person, reflecting on it often. |
