| On Veterans Day, we honor the people who have chosen to serve in the military. We may or may not always agree with the jobs our soldiers are sent to do, but we should always be grateful to those who are willing to serve in the armed forces. To show your appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices made by our troops, make an offering of incense and speak the following blessing:
(On this day I honor our soldiers, both those currently on duty and our veterans. I give thanks to those who have served and kept our country safe and secure. Your work is appreciated. May soldiers currently overseas do honorable work in the world and come home safely. May their commanders be wise and their intelligence true. Let our soldiers come home to peace and prosperity. Blessed be our soldiers.) |
