Spell: Jupiter Stator

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In ancient Rome, the Temple of Jupiter Stator was dedicated on this day. Stator means "stayer" and refers to the time Jupiter assisted Roman soldiers in successfully standing their ground during a battle. With the moon in Mars-ruled Aries, today is a good time to set the intention to successfully stand your ground, whether you're feeling challenged by another person, a condition or situation, or your own seeming limitations. Cleanse two hematite stones in sunlight and/or sage smoke, and then empower them with a confident inner vision of remaining stalwart and emerging victorious. While standing near a large tree, invoke the sky god's assistance by chanting:

"Jupiter, help me stand my ground and be the victor in this round. With the fortitude of this mighty tree, strongly rooted I shall be."

Place one of the rocks at the base of the tree, and carry or wear the other one until your victory is secure.
