According to Hebrew calendars, Sunday is considered the first day of the week. As we ease into a new week, let's take advantage of the waning moon and do a little banishment magick. Gather a small chime-size candle and appropriate holder and a toothpick, skewer, or other implement suitable for carving into the candle. Think of something in your life that you'd like to lessen or banish. Think of something that is no longer serving your highest good. Carve what you wish to banish into the side of the candle. Hold the candle between your hands and up to your third eye. Concentrate on your intent and project it into the candle. Place the candle in its holder and recite a simple incantation such as:
"Fire, fire, burning bright, Incinerate and banish under waning moon light." Envision the light of the flame engulfing, banishing, and transmuting that which you intend to banish. So mote it be! |
