Spell: Automatic Writing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Automatic writing is a skill that takes practice, discernment, and discretion. Objectivity is undoubtedly a metaphysical person's best ally when discovering or attempting new skills. In other words, let's be objective with our results!
To attempt automatic writing, get comfortable in a quiet environment. Use a pen and large pad of paper. Close your eyes and open your chakras. Then put yourself in a trancelike state. Let your pen write or draw whatever it wants; attempt to disallow your conscious mind from entering the channeling. Your mind should not be aware of anything the hand is writing. When finished, return to a normal waking consciousness, and use your objectivity to see if there are messages in the scribbles. Don't be discouraged if you can't make out even one word on the first attempt; this is normal. With enough time and regular practice, you may indeed find yourself tapping into external spiritual forces wishing to communicate by way of your pen.
