September 11, 2001, touched us all. For those of us who live in New York City, we probably know someone who was involved. We may have had a loved one or friend who was part of the disaster, who died there. We may know someone who worked in the recovery process. I have a friend who lost his son, a firefighter, in the collapse. Such bravery should not go unnoticed or unacknowledged. On this day, we join people everywhere in remembering those who were lost and those brave souls who worked to help to save what could be saved on that fateful day. We remember what was done and we pray to the gods that this will never happen to anyone ever again. We also pray that our governments realize why this happened, and work toward world peace. So mote it be.
