Color of the day: Black Incense of the day: Magnolia The Middle Days, Enderi, are three days in the middle of the Loa, the Elven year. As the fifth of the seven Elven feasts, these days were set aside for rest and travel before the Cold Season of Hrivë arrives. In Tië eldaliéva, Enderi aligns with Oromë, Lord of the Forests, the handsome, hound-loving hunter and warrior who blows his piercing horn, Valaróma, and rides Nahar, a white horse that shines silver at night. As Vána's husband, he loves Arda, the Earth, and the Elves most of all and would travel to them, inspiring them to make the journey to the Blessed Realm. To meet Oromë, light any autumn-colored candle and imagine yourself anywhere in nature, especially the woods. You hear the distinct sound of his horn. He then arrives on horseback, beckoning you to join him. You mount Nahar and ride. He travels everywhere and you watch him slay many monsters to keep all of us safe. You thank Oromë for his strong, ever-present protection, and return to the here and now. |
