Spell: A House Blessing Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Nutmeg

In ancient times this was one of the days households offered small sweets as a thank you to the gods, and to ask for their blessing. Honey was one of the traditional flavors found in these sacrificial cakes. An easy way to do this is to buy a piece of honey-soaked pastry, such as baklava, and bless it according to your spiritual path. The pastry must be taken to a crossroads and left as an offering to one of your deities. To gain more prosperity, you may also add a coin by inserting it into the pastry. Another way to protect and bless the household is to take a small piece of wool fabric and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon, or other protective herb, in the center. Bring the corners of the fabric together and tie them. Hide the protective bundle where it won't be found-near an entryway if you can. Perform this spell again in one year.
