Color of the day: Lavender
Incense of the day: Basil People often feel awkward when meeting new people, fearing that they will create a bad impression. But when you are comfortable with a situation, you will put others at ease and the meetings will indeed become merry. To become more comfortable with meeting new people, stand in front of a mirror. Shrug your shoulders, squirm, tug at your clothes, and do all of those awkward, fidgety motions you do when you are nervous and uncomfortable. Take three long, deep, cleansing breaths, and renew your connection with Mother Earth. Now look in the mirror and smile. Cheerfully say, "Bright blessings. Greetings and merry meet." Watch the person respond with smiles and handshakes. Keep on practicing until you feel comfortable with what you look like when greeting new people. Take a deep breath and go forward to comfortably greet new people, using words and greetings appropriate to the situation. Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again. |
