Color of the day: Orange
Sunny days have helped you enjoy your summer so far, so why not pay tribute to the Sun god Ra for his blessings in the way he likes best. In ancient Egypt, myrrh was burned at high noon to please the Sun god Ra. Put a few small chunks of myrrh on a white charcoal block placed on a fire-proof surface outdoors. Use your hands to brush the smoke upwards toward the sky as you say: With honor and praise I send this smoke to you. Thanks for the blessings and the sunny days, Sun Ra, great god, emblem of the Sun. I honor and praise you for all that you've done. |
