Incense of the day: Chrysanthemum A friend once said that you should never pass a row of gumball machines without stopping. There is a small thrill in not knowing what exactly will come tumbling out. Will it be a nifty new treasure or a true piece of junk for which you have just wasted your money? Four small rubber bouncy balls-as can be found in a gumball machine-are required for this spell. The spell must be cast where children play: a school playground, the park, your own front yard. It is best done when there are very few children around to observe. Holding one of the balls, face east and infuse the ball with a good wish appropriate for the direction-perhaps that the finder do well on an upcoming test or that he or she find the necessary inspiration of a school project. Having charged it with your wish, toss the ball eastward, sending your wishes with it. Do the same with the remaining three balls, making directionally appropriate wishes. |
