Wishes can either be written on kites or on several pieces of cloth and paper for tying to the kites' tails. Use creativity and intuition to adorn your personal kite with health and happiness symbols after writing your wishes and aspirations. Go to a location where you can fly the kite freely, and let the wind carry your kite upwards. Control the flight of the kite to build up a ritual momentum. Concentrate on the kite's movements, the push and pull of the wind, the rise and fall of the object in space. Watch the sky around the kite and observe its colors, the clouds, any other details. Let loose more string so the kite can soar higher. The kite will eventually break free and rise further up in the sky. If not, cut the string to release the kite so it can carry your wishes to the cosmos. |
