Incense of the day: Neroli To protect yourself during holiday travels, collect a white votive candle, a pinch each of dried basil, lilac, and sage, and any combination of tiger's-eye, moonstone, amethyst, malachite, or turquoise. Carve the protection symbol of your choice into the candle, while visualizing a safe journey. Place the candle in a heatproof container, and sprinkle the herbs around the candle. Place the stones on the outside of the container. Light the candle and chant: Great spirit, keep me safe by land or sky or sea. Safe journey, safe return. So mote it be. Allow the candle to burn completely, and then carry the stones with you when you travel. |
