Color of the day: Yellow
Incense of the day: Sage Generally, most of us would agree that a good idea is a good idea regardless of who thought of it. That is, we can all recall countless times when our friends and coworkers have flourished with ideas that were of our origin. And while they basked in success of our making, we say nothing about the ideas being "ours." We have the inner warmth of knowing that our inspiration led to the fulfillment of others. Or perhaps you have not felt exactly that way when your ideas have been taken without attribution. There are times when we want and deserve recognition for our hard work and for our creative input. To encourage this, light a red candle and place peppermint on a charcoal block, saying: Embers of creativity, spark into flame. Inspiration flourishes in my name. Focus on creative energy flowing to and from you. Carry a small book to write down inspirations. Keep in mind that no idea is truly original. All ideas originate in the universal unconscious. Be humble. Also realize that ideas that flourish and ideas that crash will both bear your name. Push ego aside, and use good judgment when presenting your creative inspirations. |
