Color of the day: Red
Incense of the day: Gardenia Spirits, like anyone, can be come annoying at times. Poltergeists, especially, can create havoc in the home. In order to banish your troublesome ghosts, burn sage. This remedy comes from Native American tradition. Sage drives away unhappy ghosts but allows the pleasant ones to stay. When you feel an unnatural coldness on your skin, or just the creeps, ring bells or tsingsha cymbals, or blow a whistle. Spirits don't like high-pitched or discordant sounds. Put a broomstick over the transom each night, and a bottle of rum or vinegar at your back door. No ghost will venture past these. Don't bother calling an exorcist. This only makes matters worse, since most haunts love the attention. |
