Spell: Developing Your Inner Warrior Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The sign of Aries is associated with the planet Mars and with its deep warrior energy. Today, on the Full Moon in Aries, is a good time to work on developing warrior strength and building a solid base of internal spiritual fortitude. Though we often need to learn compromise and skills of negotiation in modern society, there are times when we also need to develop and use the ability to defend and empower ourselves when we feel weak or low in confidence. To prepare for this spell, gather a cushion, a red candle, and a small pouch with several small garnet, ruby, or carnelian stones. In view of the rising Full Moon, sit comfortably on the cushion and light the red candle, placing it several feet in front of you. Gaze into the red candle light, and visualize yourself as strong, upright, and full of confidence and power. Tell yourself, too, that this is not a power that you intend to abuse, but it is a strength that will help you direct your will in a good way. Meditate in this way for ten minutes each day until the next Full Moon. As you meditate each day, handle the red stones that you have placed in the pouch. Also, carry the pouch around your neck and near your heart each day until you have finished the sequence of meditations running from Full Moon to Full Moon. This pouch will remind you of the strength you are building.
