You can get things moving in your chosen career today. Just sit down and get comfortable. Holding a small die-cast toy car in your hand, spend some time focusing on your career and on where you'd like to see it go. Actually see yourself doing the career-related things that you really want to be doing. See your boss or supervisor noticing your good work and then thanking and rewarding you for it. Pour as many of these thoughts into the little car as you can. Take the car to work and set it on your desk, or stash it in a locker or drawer. Look on it once a day or so and recall your visualizations. See the car getting you there.
