Spell: Elemental Meditation

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Use this meditation to strengthen your magickal connection to the Earth.

Go outside with a candle in a holder, a cone of incense on a fireproof dish, a small dish of salt, and a glass of water. Sit or stand with your feet touching the earth. Light the candle and watch the flame as you think of all the light in the world in its many forms. Meditate for a while on the nature of this light. Next, drink the glass of water as you meditate on all the forms of water in the world. Next, touch the ground and touch the salt. Feel the energies resonating and think of all the matter that makes up the planet. Finally, light the incense as you meditate on the air that envelops our planet, and the motion and growth it facilitates. Meditate on how these aspects of nature are all present and active in your own body.

When you’re finished, put out the candle and the incense and pour any remaining water on the earth. Add the salt to a bath or use it to season food.
