Spell: Election Day Fate Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Elections can bring out the worst in people, especially if we don’t vote for those who eventually win. During this time, it can feel like our hands are tied and our fate is up to the universe. We can feel like a ship bobbing along on an ocean current, not knowing where we belong. If you feel that you need to reestablish your fate, then cast this spell. It doesn’t need to be cast on this particular day. It can be cast anytime you feel like your life is in the hands of the goddesses of fate.

In Greek mythology, the goddesses of fate were three sisters who determined the fate not only of every mortal but also of the gods.

Safely light a white candle and imagine the Fates listening. Talk to them about what is it that you actually want in life. Do you have a problem or decision that you want them to sort out for you? Imagine what the goddesses of fate would look like and begin to talk to them. Tell them your desire and then finish by saying:

Goddesses of fate,

Your decision I await.

Grant me one wish, I implore.

Grant me success, no less, no more.

Be gentle with my life, be

tender with my fate.

Goddesses of my life, ensure

that now all will be great.

Keep the candle burning for at least three hours after the spell and then extinguish it safely. Never leave a candle burning unattended.
