POSTED UNDER Water, Winter

Spell: Darkness Divination

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The dark, cold nights of winter can seem long and tiresome, but don't forget that the quiet, slower pace of this season can be useful, too. It is a good time to look inward, to go deeper. In short, it is a great time for divination.

Take advantage of the quiet and you might hear the answers to questions you didn't even know you were asking. If you are comfortable with tarot cards or rune stones, you can use those. Otherwise, you can light a black or white candle and gaze into a dark-colored bowl filled with water. Ask: What do I need to know? Then say this spell and pull a few cards or stones or look into the water to see if an image appears:

"Darkness, darkness, of the night,
Show some answers to my sight."
