LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: The Magick Box

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Create your own "magick box," a treasure trove of goodies and items full of magickal potential.

You'll need a small box-ideally made of natural materials. Decorate it to suit your purposes or preferences with words, sigils, symbols, decorative papers or tape, or whatever inspires you. On the inside of the lid, write: "Magick Box: Take Something/Leave Something." Fill the box with items that could be used for magickal workings: beads, crystals, stones, small figurines, twigs, scraps of fabric, small candles, marbles, miniature tarot cards, or whatever you can find.

When the need for magick seizes you, open the box and say:

"Deep into this box I reach.
Answers, now, my fingers seek."

Pull an item-it will probably be exactly what you need! You can use the box for divination, too: ask a question and pull a response. Be sure to keep adding to the contents as well. May your magick box grow ever in power!
