If you suffer from anxiety or just have a stressful day, here is a quick meditative exercise to use to help release the anxious energy and restore your sense of calm. If the anxiety or stress is particularly high, this may need to be repeated a few times for the full effect.
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and visualize a soothing ice-blue orb in the region of your solar plexus(the area above your belly button, in between the ribs) pulling all the anxiety from your body into the orb. See the anxiety as a gray haze floating around, and will that the orb inhales it like a vacuum. When you feel that all the anxiety has been absorbed into the orb, mentally send the orb down your arm to your strong hand and throw it far from you to release it. |
