It's easy to get overwhelmed in life. It's difficult not to absorb other people's opinions or perceptions as one's own. For that reason, objectivity-rather than subjectivity-is an ideal approach to take in life. This can allow a person to see more sides of a situation and feel less emotionally invested in any given challenge.
To help encourage objectivity, fill a small sachet bag with the herbs rue, rosemary, peppermint, yarrow, and salt. For extra oomph, add some black tourmaline. In a sacred space, hold this bag to your mouth and whisper to it: "Bag of life, bag of light, guard my perception through day and through night. My mind is aware while my thoughts arise; I discern objectivity through my eyes." Repeat this four times. Finally, brush the bag through the elements: dirt, flame, incense smoke, and water. Carry it on your person whenever you need objectivity in life. |
