| With this barely formed crescent, this tiny sliver of a Diana's bow moon tonight, we are called upon to dare to dream big, to shoot for the stars! Take a silver candle and a gold coin, and ponder these words from the Charge of the Goddess: "Keep pure your highest ideal. Strive ever toward it; let nothing stop you or turn you aside."
What is your highest ideal? In a perfect world, what would be your vocation, your honor, your best of all possible ways of being? Project that energy into your candle, saying: "As I pursue my own highest nature, all else will come- in its own time." Breathe deeply, knowing that what you have planned for yourself in this life is coming to pass, and that you are, indeed, on the right path, that in this, you will prosper. Light the candle, letting some of the silver wax drip onto the gold-colored coin, to be kept as a reminder. |
