It's been believed since ancient times that bees have a mystical connection with humans, and can sense what's going on in our lives. For this reason, when happy or tragic events occurred, it was customary for a member of the household to go outside and "tell it to the bees." If it was sad news, black fabric or quilts were used to cover hives or part of a grassy area to prevent the bees from leaving.
Bees are the most important of all insect pollinators, and without them, our earth would suffer. Honor these industrious creatures that want to be part of our lives by chanting this charm outside: "I honor the flowers, I honor the trees, but in times of grief or happiness, I will always tell it to the bees." The next time you have a problem, whisper it to the bees. They want to help. |
