Monday, or Moonday, is a wonderful day for doing magical work. And with today being the start of the Celtic tree month of Willow, the fifth moon of Willow, the fifth moon of the Celtic year, there is added magical energy to employ. Summon Belili, the Sumerian goddess of trees, as you incant this blessing upon yourself or others:
"Belili, bless me that I might be like the trees, My feet, firmly rooted in sacred earth, my roots long and connected, My arms reaching for airy skies, open wide, embracing, My fiery spirit soaring, light energy, clear and true. And like the sacred willow, the Witch's tree, let me drink from the waters of the world. Earth, air, fire, and water fill me, so that like the trees, I may long dance on this sacred earth. With limbs reaching long, I invoke Belili's green widsom, Giving thanks for the goodness of trees. Blessed be, Belili." |
