Spell: A Feast for Artemis and the Dryads

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Find a peaceful setting, either in your own back yard or in a park, to hold a feast honoring Artemis and the Dryads (tree nymphs). If you have a favorite tree, set up under it or choose a tree based on the corresponding Dryad. For example: laurel for Daphnaie or oak for Hamadryads, and so forth.
Lay a pink cloth on your altar, table, or picnic blanket. Decorate with rosemary, rose, and acorns, or any flowers you feel are appropriate. Lay out a fine feast that you've prepared-maybe little cakes or cookies, a pretty salad, and some wine. Burn a white candle that has been anointed with sandalwood.
Give an offering of a garland made with some of your hair or ivy, strung with nine bay leaves. Bury it under your tree with a piece of moss agate. Give thanks to the Dryads for Artemis's protection and the beauty of the trees.
