Today, also the Feast Day of Saint Andrew, is a perfect time to combine the goddess's bent for justice with the saint's blessing on legal documents, contracts, proposals, and other sorts of written agreements. Even if you have nothing official that needs to be signed, you may wish to use this opportunity to draw up a paper enumerating your personal commitment to practice, devotion, and the magical arts.
Begin with a mediation on your spiritual path and the ways in which you would like to see it grow. Centered in your heartspace and grounded in your belly, begin writing your sacred contract - one that joins mind, body, and spirit. When finished, sign with an "X," speak your promise to Hecate that what you have written is something bold and true, and offer a kiss on your sign to seal the oath. |
