Spell: Trickster Spell

Nearly every pantheon has a Trickster figure; most cultures also have an "upside-down day," when people play pranks and make fun of normal life. In America, April 1 (or April Fools' Day) offers an opportunity to honor the Trickster figure. For this morning spell, do everything backwards. If you usually wear a robe, wear street clothes or go nude instead. Cast your circle in a direction opposite to the normal one. Put your candles in upside down, unlit. The invocation is backwards too; read it in a funny voice: "Tricksters of the world, begone! Today is a day of serious work, so stay far from all that I do, and teach me nothing of your ways. Depart now, amidst a hail of curses!" As you go through the day, wear one article of clothing backwards or inside-out in honor of the Trickster, and remain open to whatever lessons come.
