POSTED UNDER Money, Wealth

Be Like Scrooge (the Next Morning)

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Frankincense

Sometimes abundance is more than your checkbook. People who seem poor often have hidden riches that are not merely financial, and people who seem fabulously wealthy are sometimes discovered to be poor at heart. Consider what Ebenezer Scrooge's night of lessons taught him. Next morning:

He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew…Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter…His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him.

Cast your circle and set your checkbook on your altar. Ask it how it defines and rules your life. Ask it how you can find abundance that is not tied to money. Resolve to be like the new, reformed Scrooge. Be generous and laugh at the skeptical world.
